Coffee & Zines Part 2

Took my forever friend for lunch on the recommendation of a carpeted restaurant in town..

He was delighted with his fried chicken and fries

...and I with Pecan Pancakes

We decided to drive by the lake to take in the aqua blue colors
and found the decorated tree we heard about still decorated!

I forgot to add the view from Marina Shore...just a cell pic but
maybe a theme to explore another time...

Then my passenger requested a drive to locate the origin of a large farm fire he heard about overnight.

Probably my favorite barn to watch how the sun changed the angles of the shadows...and how it looked with the cabbage just before harvest.

Coffe(e) & Zines

Goal for today...get to Zine making event at Left of the Lake Gallery in Kenosha...
Moving too slow...had our own version of Cafe On the Couch.
So from home I was able to work on the theme COOL which became COLD.

When I looked at a picture that I took when I was very cold! on the lakefront about
two years ago.
The ice was amazing...it was taken during my cell phone and Camera+ App days...
But when I tried to print a 5 by 7 for my Zine entry..which is actually 5 1/2 by 8 1/2
the color was different..too much red.

In a hurry to get myself and post-surgical SO
ready by noon I used my cell phone to capture a copy of the print I like and air printed
from phone.   By shear luck it produced a 4 by 6 print and I didn't  have to become a
frustrated freak!

The best part is doodling the letters..it's relaxing but you have to know when to stop when it's always too late to start over.

January 3rd Rule of Thirds #Dogwoodweek1

Make Me Feel Like Paradise...

I don't know why the Rule Of Thirds but for sky, middle-earth and fore-ground.
It's my best guess.
No one told me I had to.

Pictures like this seem that I may know something but...
I'm quite oblivious.
